This gluteal unloading taping technique is used for tight or a light strain towards the gluteal muscles and for lower back pain, you will need one kind of tape to follow these four steps. Using:
Step 1 Firstly, tape from the bottom, to the top of the mid line of the glutes.
Step 2 The second goes from the top of the first and comes out towards the side of the body.
Step 3 Apply a third strip from the bottom of the first to the end of the second, forming a triangle, a slight stretch should be applied to the tape.
Step 4 A 'V' shape can be applied to the hamstring and calf applying a stretch from the bottom to the top of each piece of tape.
