Georgia takes part in the 401 Challenge!

GEORGIA has beaten her personal record to complete a half marathon in the Lincolnshire leg of the 401 Challenge. Her efforts will support 401 Marathon Man, Ben Smith, in his mission to run 401 marathons in 401 days and raise £250,000 for anti-bullying charities Stonewall and Kidscape.

The Lincolnshire leg of the challenge was marathon number 347 for Ben. Starting at the Boutham Park band stand, Georgia was joined by 65 other runners as well as being cheered on by the Firstaid4sport team. Speaking about her achievement, Georgia said:

"What a great experience. Ben is truly inspirational and everyone involved created such a great atmosphere. “This was my first half marathon and it feels amazing to have been a small part of the 401 Challenge. Firstaid4sport is all about supporting local talent and encouraging excellence in sport, so I was grateful for the time off to participate and the additional funds donated by the team.”

Ben has covered over 9000 miles to date with the help of 7463 runners who have joined him along the way. Find out how you can support the 401 Challenge by visiting the401challenge.co.uk.
