Firstaid4sport become Official Medical Bag Provider of Team Novo Nordisk
Firstaid4sport are proud to announce that we have become the official medical bag provider of Team Novo Nordisk, the world’s first all-diabetes professional cycling team. CEO Phil Southerland started Team Type 1 back in 2005 before partnering with Novo Nordisk in 2012 to create Team Novo Nordisk since 2012 the team is now spearheaded by the world’s first all-diabetes professional cycling team but also features a development team, ambassadors and one female professional track star.
The teams aim is inspire, educate and empower everyone affected by diabetes, something which Firstaid4sport can closely relate to having raised over £3,000 through the sales of MAX Tape for the JDRF UK. Team Novo Nordisk CEO and Co-Founder Phil Southerland was inspired by Max’s story and is looking forward to his team working alongside Firstaid4sport. “The Team Novo Nordisk and Firstaid4sport partnership is a personal one. Diabetes only chooses the champions and it is clear that Max is definitely a champion. “It is empowering to see kids as young as Max already motivated to give back to the diabetes community. “We look forward to having the support of Firstaid4sport as we travel the world changing diabetes. “It is with their assistance through quality medical supplies that we are able to inspire, educate and empower everyone affected by diabetes."
