Firstaid4sport Ambassador - Reece Mitchell
We are proud to announce that Firstaid4sport will be supporting Reece Mitchell over the coming CrossFit season. Having finished in 3rd place at The CrossFit Games 2017 Teen 14-15 years, we are excited to see where this season leads to. Reece will be using our EAB Tear Light Tape, Kinesiology Tape and Chalk. With CrossFit Open starting on Friday 22nd February and running for 5 weeks with a WOD released every Thursday at midnight, Open to anyone aged 14 or over, the Open whittles down to the top 17 from each region. Then the top 5 qualifying at the regionals competition moves on to The Reebok CrossFit Games. Firstaid4sport Director Michael Davison says “With CrossFit becoming the fastest growing fitness sport not just in the UK but the world, we are really excited to be supporting Reece as he looks to qualify for The CrossFit Games 2018. To come 3rd in his age division last year was an incredible achievement and we look forward to sharing in his CrossFit journey the year. Reece took some time out from his training to answer some questions for us!
FA4S: Age when you started CrossFit and why?
RM: 13 years old, i was a pretty overweight teenager who was lazy and wanted to be in real good shape!
FA4S: What do you love about CrossFit?
RM: I love that I can push my self to limits I thought I never could, every day. But not forgetting the awesome community of people you get with CrossFit!
FA4S: Training sessions per week?
RM: 20
FA4S: Proudest CrossFit moment?
RM: So many, but defiantly winning the worldwide CrossFit Open for my age division in 2017 and my 3rd place finish at the Reebok CrossFit Games!

RM: Hard work and dedication

RM: I get angry a lot!
