Firstaid4sport Ambassador - Callum Smith

On the eve of his fight for a place in the World Boxing Super Series Final against George Groves, we are proud to announce that our second Ambassador for 2018 is British Super Middleweight boxer Callum Smith. Callum from Liverpool is trained by world famous boxing trainer Joe Gallagher at Gallagher’s Gym in Bolton. He followed his 3 brothers into Professional boxing in 2012. Having had success in his career from then with 23 fights and 23 wins, Callum held the British, European and Silver Super Middleweight titles from 2015 to 2017. On Saturday 24th February this year Callum will fight Nieky Holzken in the World Super Series Semi-Final in Germany. Winning that will lead him to meet fellow British fighter, George Groves in the Final. Michael Davison, Firstaid4sport Director says “We are really proud to get behind Callum and support him in 2018. He is real talent in British boxing and we can’t wait to see where his journey takes him this year.  Firstaidsport will be providing Callum with Pro Wrap and Zinc Oxide Tape to protect his hands whilst training and in fights." We sent Callum some questions to answer about himself and his career, he and Joe took some time out of Fight Week to go through them. You can watch the full interview on our Firstaid4sport Facebook Page.
