Cricket Clubmark – What First Aid Equipment do you need?
ECB Clubmark is an accreditation scheme for cricket clubs and is licensed from Sport England as part of their wider Clubmark scheme.
ECB Clubmark shows that a club is well run and provides the right environment for its members. Clubmark accreditation also means your club is recognised as a safe, rewarding and fulfilling place for participants of all ages, as well as assuring parents and carers that they are choosing the right option for their children.
One criteria of becoming Clubmark Certified through the England Cricket Board, is that all clubs must have a designated first aid kit. This kit must be made available to all junior sections at a cricket club, however, it is recommended that a kit is also made available to senior teams.
The ECB do not outline any specific content that must be contained within this kit, they simply recommend following the guidelines laid out by St John’s Ambulance and Red Cross. This is why we put together our range of Cricket first aid kits, they contain all of the recommended items that every first aid kit should have, plus a few little extras that are more specific to the demands of cricket, these include;
- FirstAid4Sport P 3.8cm Tan Zinc Oxide Tape x 1
- FirstAid4Sport Zinc Oxide Tape 1.25x13.7m x 1
- Finger Buddies White Standard x 10
- Sports Heat Spray 150ml x 1
