The Aircast Achilles AirHeel Ankle Wrap is specifically designed to treat Achilles tendonitis, plantar fasciitis and heel pain. It features dual Air cells, the first located under the heel with a small tubing to the second encircling the achilles tendon. With every step air is compressed from the heel aircell to the Achilles aircell, whilst between steps the air reduces back to the heel aircell. The exchanging pressure provides a constant massaging effect to the Achilles region which helps to reduce swelling and discomfort by enhancing circulation to the achilles.
