  • Description

A versatile solution for severe trauma care. Compact in size yet expansive in coverage, this bandage is engineered to manage large wounds effectively, from severe burns to shrapnel injuries.

  • Large treatment area: Provides a substantial 20"x 20" coverage once fully opened, suitable for shielding large areas like the back or chest, ensuring comprehensive protection for most casualties
  • Wound pad: Features a non-adherent, sterile pad that covers the wound site extensively, aiding sustained bleeding control and keeping the area free of contaminants
  • Hook and loop control strips: Built directly into the elastic wrap to prevent the bandage from accidentally unrolling during application, maintaining sterility and readiness
  • Securing clip efficiently locks the bandage in place, enabling caregivers to operate hands-free to address other emergencies or assist additional casualties
  • Occlusive sheet: Includes a 15.8" x 15.8" plastic sheet behind the wound pad, ideal for abdominal injuries or preserving vital moisture and heat, crucial in preventing infection and promoting healing
  • The Health and Safety Executive state, following a risk assessment: “First aid provision must be 'adequate and appropriate in the circumstances'. This means that you must provide sufficient first aid equipment (first aid kit), facilities and personnel at all times

Workplaces, premises, facilities or sites with any hazards such as machinery, equipment, sharp or moving objects which could cause critical injuries such as major bleeding must have first aid provision to treat them. The simple and small investment of adding bleed control kits to existing first aid provisions helps bridge the ‘care gap’ and could save lives.
