Bournemouth 7’s Festival

Over the Queen’s Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend, we were thrilled to sponsor Physio Fitness, the medic team at Bournemouth Sevens. Bournemouth 7’s festival has gone from strength to strength since being established in 2008 and is now the World’s Largest Sport & Music Festival, attracting 30,000 people to the south coast each year. Tom Jenkins, Director and Senior Chartered Physiotherapist at PhysioFitness said: “Bournemouth 7s was another resounding success for our Physio team, it is the third festival we have been the onsite physiotherapy partner and thanks to First Aid for Sport we were able to provide a bigger and better offering than in previous years.” He continued to say: “The massage products meant we could help keep players recovered and feeling fresh even in a tournament situation with some rugby and netball players playing up to 3 games a day. The pitchside trauma bags meant that we could provide on pitch assistance for players and patch them up to continue pushing for their respective trophies. We hope this is the first of many years to come working closely with First Aid for Sport to keep all athletes at Bournemouth 7s festival in peak condition.”  We look forward to working with both the PhysioFitness team and Bournemouth 7s again in 2023! Supporting local teams and events is important to us and we are so pleased that we were able to provide all the products needed to ensure all injuries were taken care of.
